Cement plant to appear in Dagestan Republic

A cement plant with an annual production capacity of 3.6 million tonnes is to be built in the Dagestan Republic by 2014. Construction is to begin in 2010 and will be carried out by a joint Russian-Chinese enterprise. It will require investment of €411m in total, most of which will be provided by the Chinese Norinco International Cooperation.
