The Ministry of Defense allocates RUB 1.8bn (€47m) for new housing

The Ministry of Defense plans to conduct an auction to choose a general contractor for the construction of 60,000 m2 of new housing for servicemen and their families on the territory of a military camp in St. Petersburg. The contract is estimated at RUB 1.83bn (€47m). The auction step will be five percent from the initial contract price. As a deposit, the winner will have to pay RUB 549m (€14m). Today there are two companies operating on the Russian construction market which are ready to compete for the contract: Mostostroy № 6 and Storyimpuls SMU-2. In accordance with the contract terms, all houses should be ready for commissioning by December 2011.
