Large residential district to be built in St. Petersburg

The LSR Group is planning to build a new, large residential district in St. Petersburg, near the Yuzhnoe Highway. The implementation of the project will require the relocation of a brick production plant. The company plans to transfer the brick plant to the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad Province.
On site in question LSR plans to build a new housing complex called Sofia, which will include 410,000 m2 of housing and over 100,000 m2 of commercial and social infrastructure objects.
The total amount invested in this project is not yet known, but it is estimated that LSR may make a profit of about RUB 12-14bn (€304-355m) from the implementation of this project.
