Abrau-Dyurso and Cronwell cooperate to launch spa hotels

Abrau-Dyurso, a Russian
champagne producer, is to develop a chain of wine-theme spa hotels in co-operation with
Cronwell Hotels & Resorts.
The first unit is to start operation in October 2010 under the name of Abrau Dyurso Hotels by Cronwell. It will cover the total area of 2,500 m
2 in Abrau-Dyurso village (Krasnodar Territory) and will house 40 rooms. The champagne producer is to invest over RUB 80m ($2.63m) in the opening.
The co-operation involves also the construction of another two hotels in Abrau Dyurso, designed for 150 and 100 rooms. In addition, the partners plan to open hotels in other countries. In 2008 Cronwell Hotels and Resorts acquired a hotel with 36 apartments in Ch
alkidiki, Greece, which is currently being reconstructed and will be re-opened under the Abrau Dyurso banner.
