First stage of Moscow City will not be completed until 2013

The construction of the first stage of the Moscow City business district will be completed no earlier than 2013. According to the initial plan, the first stage, the construction of which began in 1992, should have been completed in 2008 or 2009.
The structures which remain to be built include the sewage system, a car park, civil defence facilities, a pedestrian retail zone, an elevated ring road and the south-western entrance to the zone.
