Inteco to build a new cement plant in Tula Province

Russian company Inteco, belonging to Elena Baturina, and the authorities of the Tula Province have signed an agreement about construction of a new cement plant with the annual capacity of 4.6 million tonnes in Venevsky District. In accordance with the agreement Inteco will invest in the construction of the new plant up to RUB 25bn (€659m). The company plans to begin the project implementation in 2011, with project implementation to take place in two stages. During each stage a modern production line with the annual capacity of 2.3-2.5 million tonnes will be put into operation.
