Sibirsky Cement has proposed the creation of a cement-production holding in cooperation with the government. The holding would be active on the cement markets of Siberia and the Russian Far East.
The Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has supported the initiative and commissioned government officials to analyse the issue in detail. If the proposal is accepted, the state-owned Rostekhnologii may obtain a blocking stake in the new entity.
