Residential Construction Support Fund to build and buy flats for military personnel

The Federal Fund for Residential Construction Support will coordinate the construction and purchase of accommodation for military personnel from 2011 onwards.
The Fund has already agreed to provide the Ministry of Defence with land for the construction of economy class accommodation in some parts of the country. It will also purchase accommodation on behalf of the Ministry on the open market and will act as its property agent, charging commission.
The Federal Fund for Residential Construction Support was founded at the end of 2008. Its main focus is to utilise federal land which is either not being used at all or is not being used for its original purpose.
