Reform of housing and communal services to cost €97bn

Vladimir Putin, the Russian Prime Minister, has approved a federal programme to modernise and reform housing and communal services between 2010 and 2020.
According to the document, it is estimated that the reform will cost €97bn, €10.3bn of which will be funded by the government, €48.6bn by private investors and €17.5bn by building owners.
By 2020 the government plans to have renovated all residential buildings, in which physical deterioration exceeds 65% and to have reduced the number of homes, in which physical deterioration vary between 31% and 65% to 19% of the total amount of housing.
